A sisterhood that not only invites you to sit in the seat of receiving but to play and be an active participant and steward of this sisterhood and true sisterhood on this planet. 

Grandmother medicine, also known as Ayahuasca, is a sacred ancestral medicine and spirit who comes from and grows in the Amazon Rainforest, particularly among the indigenous peoples of Peru, Brazil, Colombia, and Ecuador. Also known as La Madre, The Great Mother Medicine is known by many to be the spirit and blood of Mother Earth.

She consists of 3 ingredients: 1. Ayahuasca vine, 2. Chacruna leaves, + 3. Water and this tea is brewed over long periods of time in deep prayer, creating a psychoactive and visionary Amazonian tea that is served ceremonially for healing, transformation, awakening, and connection with nature.

This ancestral medicine is VERY powerful and is to be consumed in the proper [safe] place and setting. In no way, shape, or form is the consumption of this ancestral medicine casual.

To commune with this medicine is to answer a calling from within you. 

A Temezcal, also known as a sweat lodge, is a beautiful ceremony symbolizing a return to the womb of Mother Earth.

An opportunity to sweat and remember the power of your intention, presence, and prayer as one tribe and family.

This ceremony is used for purification, healing, spiritual connection, and rebirth. During this ceremony, there is a prayer working with the elements – water, air, fire, and earth. Ceremony is held sitting on the earth in a small dome-shaped structure that symbolizes the womb of the mother.

Large stones, also known as the Abuelitas (Grandmothers), are heated in the fire for many hours and brought into the center of the sweat lodge, and then are offered water to produce heat/ steam.

During ceremony, presence with our breath / air is absolutely vital. Slow, steady breathing, accompanied by powerful prayer, and we sweat and release what no longer serves us, offering it back to the earth.

Our prayers are carried up by the steam and offered to the planet. Emerging from a Temazcal / sweat lodge is to feel truly reborn, birthed from the womb of our mother. 

This journey includes 6 weeks of pre-journey curriculum and preparation, where we will be going on a deep journey together before even arriving in Costa Rica.

We will begin a specific diet, also known as dieta, a minimum of 2 weeks before arriving together in Costa Rica.

This is practiced together to prepare ourselves mentally, physically and spiritually to be in communion with the medicine.

What is important for any woman considering this journey is that she is in prayer with herself and God/Spirit about if this journey is for her or not.

From there, if it is a yes, we will hop on a discovery call to feel into this possibility. If a yes! You will be given clear next steps :) 

Costa Rica is known across many cultures as the womb of the planet. Those who have traveled there before can attest to this.

The Vibrant life reveals the great mother's fertility. This land has very little (if any) history of war. There is a preciousness and purity of energy, making it a very supple and supportive place to do the deep work we are called to as women of Inbodied Truth.

And it is with great honor and reverence that we gather here.

We are always learning and listening for how we are guided to give back to Mama Costa Rica and these precious lands.

Purging = Getting Well = Moving Energy

We like to call purging “getting well”—because it’s not about getting sick, but rather releasing what once made you unwell. If you have the opportunity to purge, you are shedding stagnant energy, old patterns, and what no longer serves you—making space for clarity, vitality, and aliveness.

Purging doesn’t always mean vomiting. It can look like crying, laughing, shaking, dancing, yawning, or even deep breaths. This journey is intentionally curated with embodiment + regulation practices to support your energy’s natural release.

If getting well arises in ceremony, it’s a sacred moment—a chance to honor what has been, acknowledge what you’ve learned, and step into who you are becoming. Surrender to the transformation. You are divinely guided and fully supported in this moment.

As we embark on this journey, you will be reminded of this truth and equipped with the tools necessary to support yourself through the process—held in the womb of sacred sisterhood.
